Reflection:

Getting feedback from your peers/mentors, and then absorbing, synthesizing and applying that information is a significant part of the artistic process and being a creative thinker. In every unit, I build in periodical check-ins with students during ideation and studio time. This ensures students to have real time responses moving forward and allows me to assess student comprehension, time management, and any other adjustments that should be made to help further student learning. The CDE Visual Art Standard: Invent to Discover and Create has utilizing feedback as one of the main components for middle school grade level expectations.
